Discover the Zenodo Community
The APOLLO project supports the European Commission’s commitment to Open Science and Open Access by ensuring that publicly funded research outputs are accessible, reusable, and shared with the wider scientific and industrial community.
Open Access provides unrestricted online access to research publications and results, allowing others to consult, build upon, and reference the work without limitations.
Open Science goes further, promoting transparency, collaboration, and openness throughout the entire research lifecycle.
Although closely related, the two concepts serve different purposes:
Open Science is the overarching approach to openness in research.
Open Access refers specifically to the free availability of research outputs.
APOLLO on Zenodo
To put these principles into practice, APOLLO maintains a dedicated Zenodo Community Page, where we share our openly accessible materials — including public deliverables, conference presentations, publications, and communication resources.
Zenodo is an open-access repository designed to host research outputs from any discipline. Each uploaded item receives a DOI (Digital Object Identifier), ensuring reliable long-term access, citability, and traceability.
Through open research practices, APOLLO contributes to building a more transparent, collaborative, and circular solar innovation ecosystem.
