APOLLO at Spring Events in India

We are proud to share that Dr. Deepa Oberoi, a key researcher from the University of Leicester , recently represented our initiative at two major international conferences held in India. These events provided an important platform for disseminating APOLLO’s mission and innovations in sustainable materials and circular solar energy solutions.

The first event, the International Conference on Sustainable Energy and Environment (ICSEE 2025), took place from March 8–10 at BITS Pilani, Goa Campus. Dr. Oberoi delivered a compelling oral presentation highlighting APOLLO’s progress in pioneering circular solutions for end-of-life photovoltaic modules. Notably, she was also invited to serve as Session Chair for the Environment section, a role in which she facilitated discussions among global researchers. Her contributions were recognized with a commemorative memento.

Later in March, Dr. Oberoi took part in the Advanced Materials for a Greener Future (AMGSE 2025) conference, hosted by K.R. Mangalam University in collaboration with Shivaji College, University of Delhi. At this event, she once again took the stage to share insights from APOLLO. Her presentation was met with great enthusiasm and earned the Best Oral Presentation Award, underscoring the high relevance and impact of APOLLO’s research on a global scale.

These two participations not only reflect the quality and ambition of the APOLLO project but also reinforce its visibility among international academic and industrial communities. By promoting connections and dialogue at a global level, we move closer to our vision of building a circular, sustainable photovoltaic value chain in Europe and beyond.

Stay tuned as APOLLO continues to engage with stakeholders across the globe, pushing the boundaries of circular innovation in solar energy.
