Building Collaborations at EU PVSEC

The APOLLO project was proudly represented at the 42nd European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (EU PVSEC 2025) in Bilbao, Spain. Our partners ODTU-GÜNAM and Kalyon PV from Türkiye, together with NTNU from Norway, joined the event and actively contributed to the programme.

The APOLLO team had the opportunity to meet and exchange at the ODTU-GÜNAM booth, where many valuable discussions with colleagues from across the PV community took place. We would like to extend our thanks to Tulin Yaman Sökmen (ODTU-GÜNAM) for facilitating introductions and connecting us with a wide network of experts.

A highlight of the week was the role of Hatice Duman (Kalyon PV) as session chair for “Characterisation and Modelling of Si Solar Cells”, where she brought valuable expertise and perspective to the discussions. In addition, the poster sessions provided further insights into ongoing research and innovation in photovoltaics.

Overall, EU PVSEC 2025 was an inspiring week that not only reinforced APOLLO’s existing partnerships, but also opened the door to new collaborations within the European PV community.
