6th Meeting of APOLLO Consortium in September

After a short pause, the APOLLO consortium came together online on 21 September for its 6th project meeting, reconnecting partners and catching up for the work ahead.

The meeting included technical discussions on progress across the project, with partners reviewing ongoing activities, sharing updates and discussing the next steps for the coming months. Alongside the technical work, partners are carrying out internal training and testing of the Digital Product Passport (DPP), helping prepare the tools and processes needed for the next stages of APOLLO.

A key part of the meeting was also the discussion on scientific publications and open access. Sharing research openly is an important part of APOLLO’s commitment to making its results accessible beyond the consortium, supporting knowledge exchange and enabling other researchers, innovators and stakeholders to build on the project’s findings.

Looking ahead, Swansea University is organising a PV training bootcamp in Nairobi, with more information to be shared in the coming weeks. Also, the next APOLLO consortium meeting is planned for 19–20 November at the University of Glasgow, in a hybrid format. It will take place alongside the 2nd International Conference on Responsible Electronics (REACT), which will be held on 17–18 November.

With partners back together and progress being made across technical, training and dissemination activities, APOLLO has built a solid foundation for the next stage of the project.
